Tedd Goldfinger, DO
Dr Tedd Goldfinger is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona School of Medicine, Tucson, Arizona, and Senior cardiologist, President of Desert Cardiology of Tucson Heart Center, a multidisciplinary clinical cardiology medical group serving southern Arizona. He is a graduate of the College of Osteopathic Medicine & Surgery (IA), and has completed post graduate training in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease at the US PHS Hospital-New York, Geisinger Medical Center-PA, and University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He has served as a commissioned officer of the United States Public Health Service before entering clinical practice.
Dr. Goldfinger is President of the Desert Heart Foundation, a non-profit medical foundation for research and education, and is the director of its Wine & Heart Health Research Initiative Dr Goldfinger is an authority on the effects of alcohol among persons with cardiovascular disease, and lead investigator of the WICS (Wine in Cardiovascular Subsets) research project.
